Cement concrete pavement is a common form of pavement in China’s road construction.It has been widely used in various kinds of road design and construction as early as before the promotion of asphalt concrete pavement.In recent years,the country vigorously promote the process of city development,with its advantages of cement concrete pavement has better performance,low cost and maintenance cost is low,is still widely used in highway and rural road building.Cement concrete pavement,like other pavement types,will produce many kinds of pavement diseases due to the influence of natural environment and driving load in the use process,thus seriously threatening road traffic safety.Pavement void is one of the diseases which are hidden and difficult to be found,but have great influence on pavement structure.Pavement detection and safety assessment can find hidden dangers of road safety,and provide basis for pavement maintenance,maintenance,reconstruction and expansion.Traditional methods of pavement void detection are inefficient,inexact,labor-intensive,and even have potential safety hazards.Therefore,finding a safe,fast and economical method of pavement void detection will meet the potential needs of pavement detection field and bring social and economic benefits.Infrared detection technology has the characteristics of high efficiency,safety and rapidity.However,due to the late start of infrared detection technology in the field of civil engineering detection and the complexity of road surface structure,the research of infrared detection technology in road surface detection is obviously less than that in other material structures.In this paper,the infrared nondestructive testing technology of cement concrete pavement void is studied by combining theoretical research,simulation analysis and experimental demonstration as follows:(1)Study and analyze the formation mechanism of cement concrete pavement void and existing detection technology of pavement void;(2)Based on the theory of thermal radiation,analyze the principle and detection steps of infrared pavement detection technology.(3)Based on the basic theory of heat transfer,study and analyze the thermal performance of cement concrete pavement,the form of heat transfer and the influence of void disease on heat conduction of pavement..(4)Finite element method is used to analyze the influence of the area,thickness,shape,medium and external environment of the internal void disease on the heat transfer of the road,forming the theoretical basis of infrared non-destructive testing..(5)In order to verify the feasibility of the application of infrared nondestructive detection technology in the detection of void disease of cement concrete pavement and find a simple method to determine the void area,infrared thermal image is obtained by using infrared imager to detect the void disease of cement concrete pavement in situ,and the results are compared with those of simulation.
