Tile cat is a unique folk ridge decorative art in Dali area of Yunnan province.It is made of clay and clay.After being fired into a kiln,it is placed on the ridges,walls,and doors of local residential areas.It has the auspicious meaning of "town houses to ward off evil spirits and eat iron." The shape of the tile cat means Yuhu,which was formed in the cat.It was originally made by the local kiln workers according to their own impression of the tiger.Therefore,the shape of the tile cat is diverse and there are regional differences.With the development of tourism in Western Yunnan and the changes of national craft,the tile-cat has now "walked" down from the roof and transformed from a building component into a commodity with regional ethnic characteristics.Dali Heqing in Yunnan is currently the most concentrated area for the production and use of tile cats.As the product of local collective cultural consciousness,Tiao cat is facing the problems of transformation of artisan's economic system,loss of cultural connotation and inheritance and protection.During the period of research and research,I conducted field research on the area and was deeply attracted by this ancient plastic arts.When I lamented its decline,I hoped to innovate and practice the shape and function of the tile-cat.The art of this ancient Nanzhao country was protected and promoted.In the course of the graduation design,the paper made a field investigation and investigation to Dali Heqing,analyzed the present situation and consumption value of Dali tourist souvenirs,and found the significance and value of Heqing Washi as a Dali tourist souvenir business card.Secondly,through the analysis of the historical origin,folk culture,modeling,craft and aesthetic characteristics of the tiracotta,and the existing tiracotta art under the background of the times,the artistic characteristics and historical and cultural connotations of the tiracotta are summarized.Finally,in the design and practice part,the elements of Tiao and traditional feng shui culture are combined to create tourist souvenirs that meet the local regional characteristics and are more abundant in shape,so as to achieve the purpose of enriching the types and cultural connotations of tourist souvenirs in Dali,Yunnan.It also continues the function of thetown house of the tile cat itself,allowing it to be integrated into the modern home environment.Finally,it hopes to make this traditional folk craft inheritance and development through the expansion of the image and new features of the design and innovation of the tile cat.
