The metal body of the aircraft has two functions for the airborne antenna.One is equivalent to a finite reference plane,and the other is that the body can also participate in the radiation of the airborne antenna as a radiator.To analyze the radiation characteristics of the airborne antenna,it is necessary to consider not only the diffraction effect of electromagnetic waves on a finite large reference plane,but also the electromagnetic radiation of the antenna body itself blocked and reflected by the antenna.Therefore,the influence of the aircraft body on the radiation characteristics of the antenna is very complicated.In reality,there are often many auxiliary antennas on the aircraft,and the installation location is different,and the situation is more complicated.In order to clarify the influence of the metal scatterer on the airborne antenna and ensure the normal working performance of the antenna,it is an effective method to simulate the integrated body of the airborne antenna.The main work done in this paper is:1.Based on the trapezoidal planar monopole antenna,a novel airborne broadband ultrashort wave antenna with microstrip line feed Piano top loading and load resistance is proposed.The Piano fractal top loading method effectively reduces the size of the antenna,and the height of the broadband antenna is reduced by nearly 8.5%,which is more in line with the aerodynamic requirements of the aircraft.After the planar antenna is trapezoidal,top loading and loading resistors,the bandwidth of the antenna is effectively expanded,so that the voltage standing wave ratio in the working frequency band of the airborne antenna is less than 2.4.Finally,a 4x wideband airborne antenna that meets aviation requirements is designed.2.This paper completed the integrated simulation experiment of the aircraft's vertical tail and antenna,and studied the influence of the aircraft's tail on the antenna.3.This paper completed the integrated modeling and simulation experiment of aircraft and antenna,and studied the influence of metal body on the radiation characteristics of airborne antenna.By analyzing the return loss,voltage standing wave ratio and pattern of the integrated model,the influence of the body on the radiation characteristics of the airborne antenna is clearly and intuitively displayed,which has certain guiding significance for the practical application of the airborne antenna.
