Unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)has the advantages of rapid deployment, flexibility and low cost.It can be used as an air base station to provide communication services for ground users. As an air base station,UAV can use its mobility to collect data from ground sensor networks without the support of communication infrastructure. In this paper,we design a scheme that UAV assistant ground sensor network for data collection as an air base station and analysis its capacity. We studied as follows:1.This paper discusses the relationship between the partition of ground sensor network nodes and the capacity of ground sensor network when UAV assists ground sensor network in data collection. The capacity analysis of single UAV and multi-UAV scenarios is also given in this paper. In addition,in view of the multi-UAV scene, this paper also gives two different UAV deployment modes, and carries out capacity analysis for the two modes. Finally, the influence of other parameters on the network node capacity of ground sensor networks is analyzed, such as the number of UAVs,the flight path of UAVs,the distribution mode of ground sensor nodes and so on.2.This paper studies the relationship between UAV flight path and ground sensor network capacity. In this paper, several commonly used path planning algorithms are analyzed, and the path planning algorithm is applied to the scene of UAV-assisted ground sensor network. Finally, the capacity of UAV-assisted ground sensor network after using path planning algorithm for UAV path planning is analyzed. In this paper, the capacity of UAV-assisted ground sensor network in different scenarios is analyzed theoretically, and the optimal allocation scheme of UAV-assisted ground sensor network is obtained, which has guiding significance for the research of UAV-assisted ground sensor network.
