Studies have shown that 80% of people in China have problems with spinal diseases,and the tissue structure around the vertebrae is relatively complex.Computer-aided diagnosis is particularly important.Vertebrae localization and segmentation are key components of image diagnosis,surgical planning,and evaluation of spinal diseases such as vertebral degeneration,vertebral fractures,scoliosis,and spinal stenosis.They also play an important role in medical imaging analysis.Provides the basis for suffering and 3D reconstruction work.In clinical practice,the manual marking of vertebrae is not only time consuming but also error due to the location of the vertebrae,which makes it difficult for doctors to observe and analyze the condition.Therefore,this thesis designs and implements a spine localization and segmentation segmentation system based on tools such as Insight Segmentation and Registration Toolkit(ITK),Visualization Toolkit(VTK)and Microsoft Foundation Classes(MFC)and medical image data.The whole paper is mainly divided into the following parts: data reading output supports medical image DICOM,RAW,MHD and other data format reading;supports JPG and other two-dimensional image format input and output;image preprocessing includes filtering process of spinal CT image,sharpening process and enhancement process;vertebral CT image localization segmentation edge detection segmentation,threshold segmentation,region growing segmentation,active contour model segmentation,image fusion and anisotropic filtering combined with active contour model segmentation and morphological segmentation of binary images Such commonly used algorithms to achieve spine segmentation;image interaction is to read a single CT image on a twodimensional image,slide reading of continuous data,display the pixel value of a point on the image,and display the distance between two points on the image;The three-sided display is to display the spine CT image data on one screen through three sides to realize stereoscopic observation.Finally,a Spine GUI system was designed to complete the above main functions and conduct test experiments.The experimental results show that the system can achieve the expected experimental targets,and it can have a better positioning and segmentation effect for the spinal CT images.
