Valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries are often used as backup power sources in power supply equipment in various fields.When the main power supply system is suddenly interrupted due to a fault,the VRLA battery will immediately provide power supply to maintain the safe and stable operation of the system.Therefore,the health of VRLA batteries is of great significance to ensure the normal operation of electrical equipment.But in fact,the health of the battery can be affected by many complicated factors,if the seriously aging battery is not discovered in time and is still in use,it will bring potential hidden dangers to the stable operation of the electrical equipment.Therefore,there is a need for a method for real-time and effective assessment of battery health.This paper proposes to develop a battery pack remote health assessment system to achieve remote centralized monitoring and management of battery operating parameters and health status.It is convenient for users to find out the backward battery as early as possible to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power supply system.Based on the working mechanism of VALA battery,this paper studies the key characteristic parameters and capacity impact factors of the battery,and explains the importance and necessity of the valve to control the health assessment of lead-acid batteries.The calculation process of evaluating the health status of the battery by weighted ampere-time method is compared and analyzed,then a battery health assessment method based on BP network is proposed.The method does not require a long-term offline discharge operation,and the maintenance personnel can perform operation control through the remote interface,saving time and labor,and high operability.The network performance is verified by MATLAB simulation experiment.The system structure includes three parts: battery field device,OneNET cloud platform and Android mobile terminal.The battery field device uses STM32F103ZET6 as the main controller to control the controllable discharge module,data acquisition module,human-computer interaction module,GPRS data communication module,the working parameters collection and health assessment of the battery pack are realized,and the data interaction is performed on the OneNET cloud platform through the GPRS module.Use Eclipse development platform to design Android mobile terminal software,complete the information interaction between Android client and OneNET cloud platform,realize remote real-time data viewing and control of Android mobile phone.It uses Eclipse development platform to design Android mobile terminal software,completes the information interaction between Android client and OneNET cloud platform,and realizes remote real-time data monitoring of Android mobile phone.The parameters of the local evaluation device can be set through the remote terminal interface to suit the battery health assessment of many different specifications.After the prototype production and the joint debugging of the system hardware and software,the experimental results show that the system can scientifically analyze the working parameters such as battery voltage,current and working temperature.The BP network algorithm-based evaluation program in the main program can be started by various interrupt programs.Combined with the hardware circuit,the setting of the battery evaluation parameter and the opening of the evaluation program can be completed from the button end,the PC end,and the remote mobile terminal.the health assessment result with higher accuracy can be obtained,and the measurement data and the health assessment result are transmitted to the mobile terminal for remote monitoring,the user is prompted to work abnormally and needs to be repaired as soon as possible.The system field device works stably and meets the design requirements and field application requirements.
