Research On The Analysis And Inheritance Of Chinese Traditional Wall Based On Confucianism

There is an inherent wall complex in Chinese thought and culture.China is famous for building walls,and we are always surrounded by walls.As a construction element,“wall”carries ideas and contains a unique cultural spirit.As a Confucian ideology that has been orthodox for two thousand years,its scope of penetration is very broad,and it must be reflected in the traditional Chinese wall that carries both material and spiritual aspects.In the process of studying Chinese traditional walls,the Confucian culture is taken as a starting point to deeply understand the philosophical essence of its connotation.The wall contains the feelings of "the homeland of the world".This paper first analyzes and introduces the basic forms and classifications of traditional walls,the special regional performance of walls in various regions and the driving force of wall development.Then it introduces and analyzes the main spiritual connotation of Confucianism and the historical development of Chinese traditional wall under the influence of Confucianism,and puts forward the basic characteristics of Chinese traditional wall under the influence of Confucianism.It summarizes the philosophical connotation of the traditional wall of Confucianism "Level Sequence,Nature,Harmony,Moderation."The thesis analyzes the expressions of the concept of Hierarchy,Nature,Moderate of the Confucianism in the type,spatial layout,decoration and hierarchical sequence of the wall.It also analyzes and summarizes the differences between Chinese traditional wall and Western traditional wall in the influence of spiritual culture,wall space layout and wall construction materials.Finally,the paper analyzes the limitations and problems of traditional walls under the influence of Confucianism and culture in modern development,and put forward its methods,measures and means available in modern inheritance,it also highlights how BIM and GIS can be applied in modern heritage.The case study contains the inheritance and development of the combination of Chinese traditional wall and modern design concept under the Confucian ideology in modern design.
