Automobile manufacturing industry is an important part of the national economy and plays an irreplaceable role in China's economic development.In recent years,with China's economic development entering a new normal period,the automobile manufacturing industry has entered a transformation period of innovation and upgrading.In this regard,more and more enterprises choose to implement equity incentive plans to reduce agency costs,improve corporate governance,improve innovation and R&D output,so as to enhance corporate performance,enhance core competitiveness,and achieve a smooth transition in the transition period.Guangzhou Automobile Group is the first state-owned enterprise to implement equity incentive in A-share automobile manufacturing industry.Therefore,Guangzhou Automobile Group is chosen as the research object to study the implementation effect of equity incentive,which has certain reference significance for other automobile manufacturing industries that have not implemented equity incentive.Firstly,the paper clarifies the research background,purpose and significance,summarizes the relevant literature at home and abroad,and expounds the related concepts and theoretical basis of equity incentive.Secondly,it introduces the general situation of equity incentive of Guangzhou Automobile Group,mainly introduces the general situation of Guangzhou Automobile Group,the implementation motivation of equity incentive and the main content and implementation of equity incentive scheme.Thirdly,based on the relevant data of Guangzhou Automobile Group from 2011 to 2018,on the one hand,the profitability,solvency,operation ability and growth ability of Guangzhou Automobile Group before and after the implementation of equity incentive are analyzed by selecting financial indicators;on the other hand,the innovative research and development ability,market share and full staff of Guangzhou Automobile Group before and after the implementation of equity incentive are analyzed by selecting non-financial indicators.Meaning degree is studied,and the implementation effect of equity incentive in Guangzhou Automobile Group is summarized based on the above analysis results.Finally,combined with the theoretical analysis and the above research results,the paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the potential risks of the single incentive mode,the imperfect design of performance evaluation conditions and indicators,and the lack of effective supervision in the implementation process of equityincentive in Guangzhou Automobile Group.By choosing diversified equity incentive modes,the paper formulates scientific and perfect performance evaluation conditions.And indicators and effective supervision of the implementation process of equity incentives to improve the implementation effect of equity incentives in Guangzhou Automobile Group.Through the above research,we hope to improve the scientificity of the equity incentive scheme of Guangzhou Automobile Group and achieve the best incentive effect.At the same time,we can provide practical guidance for the automobile enterprises that have not implemented the equity incentive plan.
