Study On Color Control Of Modern And Contemporary Architecture Along The Main Road Of Beijing Old City

As a world famous historical and cultural city,Beijing has a profound cultural heritage that has nurtured the ancient city's highly recognizable style.In terms of visual perception,it gives the royal architecture of the red wall unique to Beijing's old city and the color of the residential buildings of the gray wall;in the historical and cultural perspective,it interprets the ideology and humanistic accumulation of the ritual hierarchy in the feudal period.As the skeleton of the old city,the main road plays a decisive role in the visual quality of urban color.However,with the development of modern cities,due to the lack of unified color planning and guiding principles,the ancient city's ancient capital style and traditional street space texture are gradually being eaten away,resulting in the lack of the ancient city's five-color context and the fragmentation of urban color.Degeneration and extremes.This study follows the principle of “the overall protection of the old city” proposed in the“Beijing Urban Master Plan(2016-2035)”.First,the modern buildings along the main roads of the “five horizontal,three vertical and one convex characters” in the old city.As research target.With 33 historical and cultural blocks in the old city and 13 cultural elites as the color guide,the nine main roads are divided into six types of scenic spots.Secondly,through the field investigation and statistical analysis of the main color and auxiliary color of the building measurement points,the problem of the color status of the modern buildings along the old town roads is clarified.At the same time,combined with the orientation of the “two-axis core” and “cultural landscape street” proposed in the Beijing master plan,the color essence of the six types of modern roads along the street is identified,and the various blocks are extracted in the ancient city five-color system.The color gene sequence serves as the planning and control direction for the color of modern buildings along the street.Then,from the color spectrum system control,the contour level control and the architectural color value benchmark,three levels are proposed to propose specific control strategies for the modern buildings along the main roads of the old city.Finally,further refine the color control range of the modern buildings along the street,and extract the color spectrum and application strategy.This study hopes to provide an implementable strategy for the color control and planning of modern and contemporary buildings in the old city through the color study of the modern buildings along the main roads of the old city,and provide some reference for the color planning of other cities in China.
