The suspension system is an important part of the vehicle chassis and has a great influence on the handling performance of the vehicle.The K&C characteristics of the suspension are the core of the suspension research.At the same time,the K&C performance of the suspension is also important for the performance of the vehicle.Based on a development vehicle project,this paper takes McPherson independent suspension as the research object and studies the performance of developing vehicle suspension K&C.Firstly,based on the research status of the K&C performance of the suspension at home and abroad,this paper summarizes the research status at home and abroad,combines the theoretical knowledge to analyze the K&C performance of the suspension,and uses ADAMS/car software to establish the multi-body dynamics model of the suspension.The benchmark test data is benchmarked to verify the correctness of the model.The model is subjected to parallel wheel travel,opposite wheel travel,longitudinal force loading condition,lateral force loading condition and returning moment loading condition.Simulation analysis,combined with the benchmark test results,to determine the K&C performance indicators that need to be optimized.Secondly,the multi-objective optimization software ISIGHT and ADAMS/car are combined to build a joint optimization platform.The optimal Latin hypercube test design method is used to analyze the sensitivity of the K&C performance index of the suspension model,and the K&C performance of the suspension is obtained.The design variables with great influence,based on the multi-objective optimization non-inferior sorting genetic algorithm NSGA-II,optimize the K&C performance of the suspension of the development vehicle,and obtain the pareto optimal solution set,which is the best hard point coordinate and lining of the suspension performance.With the combination of data sets,the optimized suspension performance is further improved compared to the optimized performance.Finally,the vehicle model before and after the optimization of the design vehicle is established and the simulation analysis of the steering stability is carried out.The vehicle's roll characteristics before and after optimization,and the understeer characteristics are compared and analyzed.Verifying the optimization of the suspension K&C performanceon the performance of the vehicle provides a certain idea for the optimization of the suspension K&C performance and vehicle performance.
