The research object of this paper is flapping wing power generation device,compared with the traditional power generation device,the flapping wing power generation device has the advantages of low noise,low starting wind speed,small environmental impact and high characteristics of fluid flow capture.Firstly,this paper designs a new type of transmission mechanism of flapping wing power generation device,and uses the method of theoretical analysis,statics analysis and numerical calculation to obtain the relationship between lift,resistance and output torque produced by the transmission mechanism.It is proved that the designed transmission mechanism can convert the heave motion of the flapping wing into the rotating motion of the generator to realize the power generation.Then,the Fluent fluid solver was secondary developed to set a calculation procedures that can be developed to effectively solve the active pitch motion and passive heave motion of the fluid flow,flapping wing,and analyzing the energy harvesting efficiency of four different airfoil types,such as the airfoil of the imitation dragonfly structure,the airfoil of the imitation sea gull structure,the NACA0012 airfoil and the NACA0015 airfoil.It is found that the bionic structure airfoil has better trapping characteristics,further analyzes the situation of four kinds of airfoil peripheral flow field,and finds that the bionic structure can make the flapping wing produce stronger eddy current in the process of heave movement,and can delay the eddy current from the surface of flapping wing during the pitching movement,so that the flapping wing has better trapping characteristics.Finally,the installation of the mechanism and system to improve the design,combined with the actual situation to select the appropriate material processing,assembly and commissioning,the development of a flapping wing power generation device prototype.
