Recently,demands for high-rise buildings and long-span bridges have increased,thus accelerating the use of high strength concrete in construction.In modern buildings,high strength reinforced concrete slabs are the basic components of building structures.However,the blast loads caused by terrorist attacks and other extreme circumstances will cause severe damage to high strength reinforced concrete slabs.Therefore,the dynamic response and damage monitoring research of high strength reinforced concrete slab under blast loading is an important task to ensure the safe operation of high strength reinforced concrete slabs.In this paper,the combination of experiment and numerical simulation is used to study the dynamic response and damage of high strength reinforced concrete slab under blast loading.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:The existing research results and existing problems of dynamic response of reinforced concrete slabs under blast loading are summarized,the generation and propagation theory of blast wave is also discussed,and principle of piezoceramic smart aggregate based active sensing technology to damage detection is introduced.The dynamic response of high strength reinforced concrete slab and normal reinforced concrete slab under the same blast loading is studied by blast tests.Combining the strain,acceleration,displacement data collected in the tests and the crack patterns of the bottom surface of the slabs with the damage index obtained by the piezoceramic smart aggregate based active sensing technology,it is known that compared with normal reinforced concrete slab,high strength reinforced concrete slab has smaller strain peaks,less deformation and smaller damage index,indicating that the high strength reinforced concrete slab has better blast resistance performance under the same explosion conditions.The dynamic response of reinforced concrete slabs with different strength grades under blast loading is numerically simulated by finite element software ANSYS/LSDYNA and compared with the experimental results.The research results indicate that within a certain range,the blast resistance capacity of reinforced concrete slabs increases with the increase of concrete strength grade.
