With the rapid development of computer technology,virtual reality technology has received a lot of attention.It has been gradually applied by scientific research,engineering applications and curriculum education,which has saved many resources.It is of great significance to study the visualization of virtual environment based on virtual reality technology,such as installation adjustment,motion simulation,free-fall drop test and roaming.This paper combines the small plant model of the virtual environment to complete the application of virtual reality visualization of washing machine assembly and drop test,which is based on the structural improvement and 3D modeling of a double barrel wave wheel washing machine.This paper studies the establishment of a visual simulation platform for virtual installation and adj ustment of a rear proj ection washing machine on the basis of rear projection,helmet virtual reality hardware and open source Unity engine.At the same time,the visual simulation platform of virtual installation and adjustment of helmet-type washing machine was studied.In the research on the visual simulation platform of virtual installation and adjustment of rear projection washing machine,firstly,the model of washing machine and the model of small workshop were built and converted into FBX format,which were imported into Unity.Then add the function button to set up the operation interface.Through the operation mode of clicking the function button,the virtual installation and motion simulation visualization platform of the rear projection washing machine was built.And the whole machine disassembly,component disassembly,washing and dehydration motion simulation visualization were realized on the basis of the secondary development of C#language of Visual Studio.At the same time,the axis alignment bounding box + normal self-correction algorithm was proposed.The algorithm is modified to study the collision detection process in the virtual environment to realize the visualization of the washing machine free-fall drop test.The free-fall drop test results of washing machine implemented in Unity were verified and compared with the ANSYS force analysis results of the washing machine model that exerted the weight drop of the whole machine,which were demonstrated to be of reference value by referring to the washing machine related free-fall drop test standards.The system start interface and selection interface was built to ensure the integrity of the system.The visual simulation platform of washing machine free-fall drop test is embedded into the system.Function buttons are used to switch scenes.Finally,the system was released through the Unity engine.The 3D visualization effect of the system was verified in the rear projection device.In the helmet-type washing machine virtual installation visual simulation platform research,the first is to adjust the hardware equipment to realize the connection between Unity and hardware equipment.Then the washing machine model and small plant model are imported into Unity.At the same time,VRTK and other related development plug-ins are imported into Unity.The relevant program scripts and components are added for the controller to realize the virtual roaming of characters.And the correspond program scripts are added for the handle controller and washing machine parts to realize interactive functions,such as virtual capture,hovering in the air and automatic return.Finally,the virtual installation and adjustment system of helmet-mounted washing machine is released through Unity engine.The 3D roaming and interactive visualization effects are demonstrated in HTC VIVE related device verification.This research makes full use of the complementarity of the characteristics of the rear-projection and the helmet type,as well as the immersion and interactivities of the virtual reality,which has realized the visualization research on the virtual load adjustment of washing machine under the different requirements.It provides a reference for visual research in different products.
