High voltage transmission lines is the lifeline engineering of national economic development,whose normal running is the guarantee of national economic construction and people's lives and property.However,due to the constant exposure to the outdoor,transmission lines frequently suffer from the challenge of harsh natural environment,Under the action of ice-shedding load,wind load and seismic load,power failure accidents such as flashover,broken line and even tower are often caused.,the safety of transmission lines has been severely challenged,therefore,it is of great significance to study the dynamic characteristics and vibration reduction of transmission lines..In this paper,the dynamic load characteristics,displacement response under harmonic excitation and coupled vibration damping method are studied by model test.The main work is completed as follow:(1)Based on a 220 kv transmission line project in hunan province,a 1:20 test model was designed and made,the test and analysis on the dynamic characteristics were carried out on various working conditions,such as the different ice-shedding speed,different ice-shedding capacity,and different ice-shedding positions,the dynamic load coefficients under different deicing conditions are obtained.(2)Design the harmonic excitation system,through the adjustable speed motor,connecting rod,realize the working condition of different frequency of harmonic excitation,the displacement response of transmission line under the working condition of harmonic excitation,the coupled vibration characteristics and the amplitude frequency response characteristics were tested and analyzed.(3)The energy transfer and dissipation between transmission lines can be realized by connecting adjacent wires with damping line,by testing and analyzing the displacement response of transmission line before and after installation of damping line,the damping effect of different damping line arrangement is obtained,and the optimal coupling damping scheme is determined.
