In this paper,Guizhou red clay is used as research object and test material.The compression deformation characteristics of red clay under atmospheric-medium-high pressure are revealed by confined compression test.The response laws of red clay slope under atmospheric action are revealed by indoor model test.The main contents are as follows:1.The compression test of red clay samples was carried out by the automatic pressure consolidation apparatus.The experimental conditions were set up with different initial water content,compaction degree and iron removal,et al.The results show that the influence of initial water content,compaction degree and iron removal on the compressibility of red clay is closely related to consolidation pressure.2.The vertical stress-strain relationship of the red clay under confined compression can be fitted well with the hyperbolic function model and the Gunary function model.The Gunary function model has better adaptability as the hyperbolic function model is a special case of the Gunary function model.3.This paper takes the indoor slope model test to research the change law of the volume water content,the temperature,the suction,horizontal displacement and the development process of the fracture under the action of light and rainfall circulation.The experimental results show that the influence of the first light on the water content of the slope is small,only the water content in the shallow surface soil is greatly influenced.After the rainfall,the influence of light on the water of the slope increases.There will be a significant lag effect when the rainfall increases with depth.The diurnal influence of light and rainfall on the slope temperature is limited,only the temperature in the shallow surface soil is greatly changed.After rainfall,the surface soil temperature varies greatly when the light is illuminated.The influence of light and rainfall on soil suction is limited,and the depth is about 36 cm.In the first rainfall,only shallow surface soils produced a significant horizontal displacement along the slope,and during the entire test,the maximum displacement at the bottom of the slope was greater than in the slope and the top of the slope.4.The fracture grid is basically formed accompanied by several main fractures after the first day of illumination.With the increase of light days,the development of fracture plane is slow,mainly to the depth of soil.After rainfall,the fine fissures can basically heal,and the width of the main fissures will also decrease.
