Research On Public Landscape Construction Of Guangzhou Industrial Heritage Park

With the continuous development of the times,increasingly fierce market competition,and the development and expansion of the tertiary industry,industrial enterprises are gradually withdrawing from the historical stage.The era of large-scale industrial production has become a thing of the past.The transformation,utilization and development of original industrial production sites has become a hot topic in the past decade.Some domestic planning designers begin to learn from foreign experiences and have carried out a series of transformations.Early well-known cases include Beijing 798,Shanghai Hongqiao,and Zhongshan Qijiang Park,all of which belong to artists' center or park.Through the investigation of the reconstruction and utilization of industrial heritage sites in Guangzhou,it is found that the transformation of Guangzhou City is mainly based on transformation into creative parks.According to statistics on the Internet in 2008,there are more than 400 creative parks in Guangdong Province and more than 30 creative parks in Guangzhou City.However,in the 10-year development,the situation of creative parks has been uneven.This paper selects eight public parks of Guangzhou Industrial Heritage Creative Park as the research object,and focuses on their landscape creation.Through practical research,the basic conditions,location,area,layout,spatial pattern,the conditions of public facilities,visual identity system,landscape content,plant planting design,floor covering,building reservation,and occupancy institutes are used to sort out the status of public landscape creation in the park.The achievements and experiences in landscape reconstruction of the Guangzhou Industrial Heritage Creative Park are summarized.In addition,we have also summarized the status,common characteristics and common problems of public landscape construction in Guangzhou Industrial Heritage Creative Park and analyzed the causes of the existing problems.Then the key points of the publiclandscape construction in the landscape reconstruction of Guangzhou Industrial Heritage Creative Park are proposed.Finally,it discusses the ideas and methods for the construction of public landscape in industrial parks and relevant issues of cultural inheritance and development.The main achievements of the paper are as follows:(1)The common characteristics of public landscape construction in the Guangzhou Industrial Heritage Creative Park are summarized.The transformation of industrial sites in Guangzhou is mainly based on the development of creative garden models,and the public landscape of Guangzhou Industrial Heritage Creative Park aims to raise the vitality of this land.Cultural creativity enterprises are the mainstay.The common public landscapes of Guangzhou Industrial Heritage Creative Park content:mechanical sculptures,public art pieces,graffiti or three-dimensional paintings,Suzhou-style industrial buildings,containers,industrial chimneys or water towers,relief murals,etc.Among them,mechanical sculptures,graffiti or three-dimensional paintings are the most common.The common plant landscape of the public landscape creation in Guangzhou Industrial Heritage Creative Park is to retain the original arbor as the main plant landscape and border trees,to retain the original green area,and to renovate the site surrounded entrance and exit.Retained plants are common plant types in South China.Among them,there are native plants including large leafhoppers,leafhoppers,white orchids,and hornbills.(2)The common problems in the public landscape construction of Guangzhou Industrial Heritage Creative Park:The public landscape of the park is in a single type.The landscape content is dominated by the original arboreal landscape of the park without sufficient plant varieties.Inadequate flower bush and colorful foliage shrubs,planting random and lack of configuration guidelines also cause the problems.The form of landscape content is single.The expression of industrial history and culture elements is not sufficiently artistic.The lack of unified design and standards is mentionable.The utilization rate of the park is not high;publicity and management are insufficient;facilities maintenance is poor.(3)Causes of common problems in public landscape construction in Guangzhou Industrial Heritage Creative Park:Influence of industrial history and culture;influence of government policy guidance and financial support;influence of surrounding environment and traffic location;influence of the presence of institutions;influence of capital management.(4)Public landscape creation of landscape reconstruction of Guangzhou Industrial Heritage Creative Park:integration of spatial layout structure;artistic processing and recreating of industrial facilities;plant landscape reconstruction;design of logo system.(5)The exploration of ideas and methods of public landscape creation in industrial heritage creative park:Improve the public service facilities;creatively design landscape contents;add various colorful plants;deeply study industrial history;protect and renew cultural relics;formulate relevant policies and regulations by government or related associations;reconstruct buildings to integrate the park culture with the environment and space;develop the industrial cultural tourism route significant sites;create typical landscape content integrating into Lingnan region culture;an industrial history museum is set up to demonstrate and restore the scene of industrial production lines;establish the site park,add leisure,fitness,entertainment and other service facilities;make a moral education education base.
