Energy consumption is increasing with the continuous development of industrial society,and the non-renewability of traditional fossil energy makes it not sustainable in the future,meanwhile,heavy using of fossil energy has brought serious environmental problems.Therefore,the development of clean,renewable energy has become an urgent requirement for human beings.In recent years,the Triboelectric Nanogenerator(TENG)with a unique combination of low cost,small size,and designability of structure,which makes it the most promising nano-energy device in energy harvesting,self-powered micro-nano systems,and wearable electronic devices.However,the low output power density of the TENG has always been a restriction affect its practical application.In this paper,according to Maxwell’s displacement current theory and capacitance model of the TENG,the output performance of the TENG is improved by regulating the dielectric properties of frictional dielectric layers,and the influence rule and mechanism are discussed.It was found that filling the ferroelectric barium titanate powder in the PDMS layer can effectively increase the dielectric constant of the PDMS substrate and have a significant effect on the output of TENG.The results show that the output performance of the TENG increases with the increase of dielectric layer capacitance,and through polarization,the output performance of the TENG can be further greatly improved.The mechanism of the dielectric polarization on the output performance of the TENG was analyzed by the potential field in internal dielectric after polarization.When the forward polarization(polarization direction points to the frictional contact surface),the output performance is improved by nearly 75%,and when the polarization is reversed,the output performance is reduced by nearly 60%.The results show that the regulation of dielectric properties for the friction dielectric layer can effectively enhance the output performance of the TENG.A device was designed by materials which have different work function based on the theory of displacement current of triboelectric effect and can shows electrical behavior similar to piezoelectric materials.Through the measurement and analysis of a piezoelectric constant meter and a ferroelectric meter,the d33 constant can reach 26.2 pC/N through optimization of the internal structure of the device.When it is under pressure,its open circuit voltage and pressure are in a good linear relationship.The paper studies the polarization mechanism of the heterogeneity interface and homogenous interface through the hysteresis loop.The charge-separated pores can be analogized to dipoles,which are necessary conditions for the device to have residual polarization,and the hetero-interfaced pores can cause spontaneous polarization of the device through external stress.The output performance of the device can be effectively improved by controlling the hole diameter and the hole spacing of the hole in the interface.
