Manufacturing is the key industry in all the major economies in the world.The 19 th CPC National Congress pointed out future goal of China's development,which means that transformation,upgrading and improving quality has become the main direction for the development of China's manufacturing industry.Machine tool industry is an important foundation of China's manufacturing industry.Its level of development directly determines the overall level of China's manufacturing industry.China's machine tool industry is dominated by private enterprises.However,top 10 of the top sales revenue in the industry are state-owned enterprises and foreign enterprises.TZ machine tool company(hereinafter referred to as TZ company)which is a private enterprises is one of the top ten enterprises in China's machine tool industry.Its development,management and future strategic planning have a certain representation in the machine tool industry in China and has a high research value.This paper reviews the development process of TZ company and analyses of the operating conditions of TZ company.By using marketing theory,analysis models of internal and external environment of enterprises and theories of financial management and competitive strategy this paper summarizes the core competitive strategy of TZ company,supporting by the theories of operation management and TPS.At the same time,this paper tries to design the implementation plan of TZ company's competitive strategy.And also,this paper designs some methods of evaluation and revision after the implementation of the competitive strategy.The research and ideas of this paper have a positive reference to the development of the private machine tool enterprises in China's machine tool industry.
