Partial discharge detection is an important step in monitoring the insulation condition of high voltage equipment in power system. With the aging of high-voltage devices, insulation may be due to mechanical, thermal and electrical stress and breakdown, leading to catastrophic failure of the device. Therefore, the power system to detect the sector, how to accurately determine the location of the transformer partial discharge is critical. In this paper,an algorithm for the direction of arrival of PD signals based on EFPI sensor array is proposed. The EFPI sensor array signal and the array sensor model are established, and the simulated signal is processed by the comsol simulation solid transformer. The estimated angle of the EFPI sensor array signal is calculated by the algorithm 4°,which verifies the feasibility of the direction estimation of the EFPI sensor array signal based on the MUSIC algorithm. The EFPI sensor array noise reduction algorithm based on ICA algorithm is proposed. The principle of ICA is studied, and the ICA algorithm is simulated. The ICA algorithm is applied to the signal collected by four elements of a single observation point, and the waveform is gotten larger by the simulation of solid transformer..A set of EFPI sensor array positioning experimental platform is set up.A 2 x 2 ultrasonic cross-row array sensor is designed, and the experiment of EFPI sensor array positioning is carried out.The experimental data, waveforms and results of the EFPI sensor array are given. The experimental results show that the error of the MUSIC algorithm is about 7° after the ICA processing, which verifies the correctness of the EFPI sensor array localization method based on the fiber sensor And effectiveness.
