The electronic stability control syste m(ESC,Electronic Stability Co ntrol)is an important electronic device of modern vehicle,and its performa nce directly affects the safety of vehicle driving.At present,the calibration of ESC syste m a nd vehicle is mainly carried out through real vehicle adjustment.Whe n we calibrate,we need to use locked parts,so that the matching of ESC syste m must wait until the developme nt of parts is completed.Tire as the only compone nt of vehicle grounding,not onl y has a direct i mpact on vehicle stability,safety and comfort,but also is a key compo nent that affects the calibration of ESC.If we can find the ke y characteristics of tire mecha nics that affect the calibration of ESC,we can control the ke y mechanical properties,reduce the number of ESC calibration after replacing the tire,and greatly reduce the developme nt cycle and R & D cost.This paper mainly foc uses on the research on the key characteristics identification methods of tire force which affects the ESC calibration.The main research contents are as follows:First,the vehicle dyna mics simulation used tire model(PAC02 model,Unitire model and Ftire model)modeling and testing methods are introduced,and then analyzes the vehicle handling and stability test method and suspension in Carsim system,braking syste m,steering syste m,tire syste m dyna mics simulation modeling method.The paper the n established the dyna mic model of vehicle tire handling,suspension syste m,steering syste m,brake syste m model,to co mplete the construction of the vehicle dyna mics model,and through the vehicle ha ndling a nd stability test,K&C test,and six tire compone nt testing,imprinting testing,static stiffness test,Cleat test,completed the test mode and vehicle tire dyna mic model.Finally,through co-si mulation technology in this paper,considering the tire cornering stiffness,friction coefficient,self-aligning torque,lateral stiffness and longitudinal stiffness of tire dyna mic key factor,co mplete the tire mechanical characteristics of vehicle acceleration performa nce,braking dis tance,yaw acceleration and lateral acceleration and impact analysis.The results show that the lateral stiffness of the tire,the friction characteristics,the taper and the angle effect have an effect on the ESC calibration.
