Series of environmental problems caused by urbanization and extreme climate can be recovered by planning and design which is based on catchment-based storm water management strategy for green space in park.Therefore,it can provide a human activities space for the urban natural environment.Firstly,This study discussed the shortcomings of traditional rainwater infrastructures,including the simple strategy of collecting,transporting and discharging rainwater,and the non-point source pollution(NPS)of particles and pollutants in the process of rainstorm runoff,Ignoring the binding characteristics of ecological sustainability of functions such as modern climate change,warming and so on.Secondly,the point of the planning and design method of this study falls on the catchment-based storm water management strategy,especially emphasizing the control of storm water runoff and water quality in the catchment area or sub-catchment area.It provides a good opportunity for the non-structural solutions and structural methods by managing and controlling storm runoff through the land planning policies and regulations.In the demands of construction in sponge city,a new form of park--storm water management infrastructure park--combined with rain flood control and landscape art is under process by integrating the infrastructures of storm water management and park green space which is based on the goal of managing the storm green water and the carrier of the park green space.Finally,using park Taipei SanChong PuPi as target,the design is based on Water estimation,structure and non-structural measures,and its maintenance by using the rainwater management based on the catchment area.Furthermore,Estimation the flooding value and its area according to the static hydrological simulationis to downstream of the flood area in the park which is reference to the High-precision numerical topography model based on the GIS and the figure of flooding potential.Evaluating the flood relief benefits of the design area by comparing the rain storage in the design area with the area calculated,which can be used to provide reference for the future problems such as extreme weather.
