Ultrasonic Motor(abbr.USM)is a new type of motor,it has many advantages,such as:low speed and high torque,fast response,good control performance and electromagnetic compatibility,etc.It has been widely used in the field of robotics,precision instruments,medical equipment,aerospace and new weapons and equipment.The way it works is rather special,therefore it needs special controllers.And the driver has a great impact of the popularization of the ultrasonic motor.So it is important to study the control and drive of the motor.In this article,a small sinusoidal signal is produced by the STM32 and DAC.Through the general operational amplifier and the separate components,a high voltage signal can be produced to achieve the purpose of the ultrasonic motor can be driven.The stepping characteristic of the ultrasonic motor is different from the traditional motors.By controlling the on-off of the driven signals,it can realize the start and the stop of the motors.So it is very important to research the stepping repeatability of the motor.In this article,through the study of internal structure of the motor,work characteristics,the drive signal characteristics can be obtained.In the part of hardware,the drive signals are produced by using the general-purpose amplifier and separate components.The driven system is designed after the analysis of the requirement of the driver signals.The driven system includes the signal filtering section,signal amplifying section,signal generating system and power section.The simulation of each section is the emphasis of this chapter.At last,a PCB board is made after the design of the whole hardware part.The results of the circuit debugging improved the correctness of the design.Through the stepping experiments,a conclusion of the relations between the stepper repetitive and excitation pulse numbers can be got.
