Karst area accounts for 12%of the global land area,and the distribution of karst area in China is very wide.With the continuous development of economic construction,the construction projects in the karst area are also more and more,the consequent problems of karst geological disasters are also very prominent,resulting in more serious engineering accidents.How to identify the geological condition of the karst area is one of the main problems that need to be paid attention to in the construction of the project.Karst's testing methods include engineering geological survey,geophysical exploration and engineering exploration,sampling and so on.Geological survey is the most important and basic method in engineering survey,which provides the basis for evaluating the engineering geological conditions of the site and the reasonable determination of the detection means.Geophysical exploration has the advantages of high perspective,high efficiency and low cost,but it also has limitations.It is very important to explore and evaluate the quality of rock mass by the correct selection and the use of reasonable detection methods.This research takes Guizhou Xingyi Maling River Bridge dolomite foundation as the research object.Through various methods such as Geologic surveying and mapping in field,Field drilling,High-density Resistivity Method,Geological radar,Borehole TV,Sonic wave testing,etc.A comprehensive exploration and evaluation has been conducted in terms of the distribution characteristics,formation principle as well as physical and mechanical property of the special geologic body on soluble rocks.Provide accurate engineering geological data for the selection of the bridge trend and the selection of bridge type.Studies have shown that C2 line passes through the tufa body cover area is large,maximum thickness of 45m,it is poor stability and mechanical properties,unfavorable for engineering construction.C6 line distribution of small-scale tufa,There are still other undesirable geological phenomena,such as Karst gully,karst pipeline,karst collapse and so on.Therefore,choo2003se k line selection suggestions from the angle of geology.According to the qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation for the bank slope stability,the main tower and arch bridges under the condition of meet the requirements of bank stability,K line 575m span suspension bridge scheme,490m span arch bridge are established.To sum up,In the Karst area,the application of the comprehensive test method to find the karst cave and determine the bridge foundation of the bad geological phenomenon has a good effect.
