With the coming of China's aerospace industry,which is into the space exploration,space communications carrier flight speed is high and the environment is complex.At the same time,the signal for the anti-interception,while the spatial carrier in order to make effective use of power resources,the constant envelope modulation system is more appropriate.The current application in aviation communication under complicated environment and under the low signal to noise ratio,yet a better carrier phase synchronization technology has not achieved,mostly by increasing complexity in exchange for phase estimation performance,sacrifice system performance to reduce the complexity and under high signal to noise ratio.This paper first analyzes the characteristics of aeronautical communication.Through the analysis and comparison of various modulation methods,it concludes that the characteristics of weakness channel,amplitude modulation,frequency modulation are not suit,but continuous phase modulation is especially suitable for aeronautical communication system,it is necessary to study.Then,the paper elaborates the principle of continuous phase modulation,which lays the foundation for the whole research work.This paper focuses on the CPM system design,the MATLAB system simulation,the system performance test.In order to verify the correctness of system design,the CPM in different SNR performance simulation test,then study on effect of CPM modulation parameters on the frequency band width,the analysis results of the modulation parameters have very important reference significance.Carrier phase synchronization algorithm has meet the small amount of calculation,low complexity and low SNR,based on the 2P-POWER estimation algorithm improved,the 2P-POWER carrier phase estimation algorithm based on matched filter can effectively overcome the limitation is difficult to estimate phase 2P-POWER algorithm for low SNR.Compared with the phase estimation and bit error performance of two algorithms,it fully proved the feasibility of the improved 2P-POWER carrier phase matched filter estimation algorithm.
