With the development of economic level,people’s requirements for buildings are getting higher and higher,and the scale,functions,and forms of building structures are becoming more and more complex.The traditional 2D CAD design cannot show the 3D graphics of building structures.Building information model(BIM)technology can effectively improve the efficiency of structural design due to its unique information and data sharing characteristics,and can especially realize the three-dimensional design of buildings.The structural design based on BIM technology realizes the three-dimensional visualization of structural design,improves the informatization level of structural design,and provides a new technical method for structural three-dimensional information design.In this paper,combined with engineering examples,BIM technology is used to design the main structure of subway station houses,and the structural design method based on BIM technology is studied.The main research results are as follows:(1)Based on the statistical reading and analysis of a large number of BIM documents and related data,the application status of BIM technology in structural design is summarized,and the role of BIM technology in structural design is analyzed.(2)Researched the concept,characteristics,value of BIM and the application standards of BIM.According to the life cycle characteristics of BIM technology,the software tools and functions of BIM technology in various stages of the project are discussed in detail,and the practicality of BIM modeling software in architectural and structural design is discussed.(3)The methods and defects of two-dimensional design are analyzed.The advantages of BIM technology in structural design are analyzed.The structural design and design flow of BIM technology are studied.On this basis,the BIM structure modeling process,physical reinforcement,flat mapping,Robot finite element analysis method,and the conversion method of Reivt model and Robot model are described.(4)Taking the Dahualing Street Station of Wuhan Metro as an example,the model of the main structure of the station building was created through the BIM modeling software,and the established BIM physical model was revised,and the modified BIM model was then imported into the finite element analysis software Robot.The structural design is carried out,and the design results are imported into the Revit secondary correction,and then the optimal design of the main structure of the station building is obtained.According to the design results of the main structure of the station building,the physical reinforcement of the main structural model of the station building and the statistics of the amount of work are realized.In addition,based on the BIM technology,a direct drawing of the Revit construction drawing was realized,and a practical method of converting the Revit model into a CAD format was studied.Finally,the shortcomings of the current BIM structural design are analyzed,and the technical problems that BIM technology still needs to solve in the structural design are proposed.At the same time,the prospects for the future structural design development are put forward.
