With the access of distributed renewable energy,the traditional single source radial distribution network becomes the new-type distribution system including multi sources.The distribution network has adjustable loads,stored energies and other controllable resources.All reasons above make active distribution system have the abilities of active control and energy management.Coordinated optimization of active and reactive controllable resources in active distribution system and research of distributed generation monitoring system are important for driving distributed generation to develop and insuring active distribution network safe and economic operation.Following development trend of global smart distribution network closely,the paper studies coordinated optimization methods of active distribution network and distributed generation monitoring system.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Research of the relevant units' characteristics in active distribution networkAnalyzing common units' characteristics in active distribution network,including distributed generation,reactive power compensator and adjustable loads.For distributed generation,the paper introduces their power principle,application status,operating characteristics and grid features.For adjustable loads,introducing interruptible loads and direct load control of demand side response,briefly reviewing their basic concept and operation process.(2)Coordinated optimized operation of multi-time scale active and reactive power in active distribution network considering network reconfigurationEstablishing the model of coordinated optimized operation of multi-time scale in active distribution considering multiple adjustable resources and network reconfiguration.Then razing the architecture of coordinated optimized operation of multi-time scale active and reactive power in active distribution network,including day-ahead model and intra-day model.Day-ahead and intra-day model take minimum running cost and minimum loss cost as objective function.Modifying one real network of Jiangning District in Nanjing in order to verify the operation method.(3)Cluster monitoring system for distributed generations in active distribution networkPresenting a system scheme based on real demand and problems of distributed generation's order-control.The system scheme consists of structural design and function design.The structure of system is main station-cluster control equipment-distributed generation three-tier structure.The functions of system includes basic data layer,application layer and presentation layer.The key technologies of system mainly consists of cluster dividing technology,multi-objective operation and cluster control methods.Modifying one real 10 kV feeder in Zhejiang Hangzhou-Bay industrial park in order to set up RTDS simulation model,the example includes short and long time scale.
