The decision made in the conceptual design stage has an important influence on the performance,price,reliability,safety and environmental impact of the product.The evaluation of the conceptual design stage plays an important role in the detailed design of the downstream,which will directly affect the product performance,manufacturing process and production costs.In the conceptual design phase of the product,the feasibility of the principle scheme is evaluated to determine whether it meets the expected functional requirements.It can effectively avoid the waste of design resources,time,shorten the product development cycle,and provide a reliable guide for conceptual design optimization and detailed design stage.The main contents of the thesis are following:1.The relationship between function and flow is concluded and the two conditions of functional realization are obtained.Based on the analysis,the two conditions of functional realization are analyzed to determine whether the principle of the product is feasible.The model of principle solution built by using the basic elements of symbolization in the AMESim software is used to describe the transfer of the flow at the structural level.2.The method of combining input,output flow in AMESim model and effect library is proposed to determine the structural equation of the system.The causal ordering theory is used to construct the causal relation network of the flow,and the qualitative relationship between the flows is established by qualitative differential equation.Finally,the analysis of the causal relation network is used to judge whether the input flow can be transformed into the output flow..3.The demand function matrix is constructed to judge the importance of each subfunction and to determine the flow characterization of the demand.The use of membership function to determine the relationship between flow and demand is proposed,and the satisfaction interval of demand and flow and the method of determining the flow threshold are given.Finally determine whether the actual output flow is within a reasonable threshold.4.Ring fastening machine is used as an engineering example to test the evaluation method of the principle solution.Finally,the principle solution is designed in detail,and the correctness of the proposed method is verified by AMESim software.
