EPB(Electronic Parking Brake,referred EPB),refers to the length of time the brake function and temporary brake,which implemented by the electronic control to parking brake.Since EPB play a major role in automotive active safety,people's enthusiasm for research EPB increasing,EPB has become a hot topic in the field of vehicle dynamics.Although the road test can be the most direct and effective way to evaluate the performance of the controller,but many factors that will limit road test,such as the conditions of the test requirements,the risk of test repeatability and so on.So that part of the road test is gradually replaced by HIL.Currently,the hardware in loop simulation technology in cars has become a major way to manufacturer and supplier.In this paper,we develop EPB strategy which based on analyzing its dynamics of mechanical structure,and build EPB hardware in loop simulation test plateform,pecific work is as follows:(1)By analyzing the hardware in the loop simulation technology and combining the research object of this paper--EPB electronic control unit,aiming at the characteristics of the EPB structure,the EPB actuator is analyzed: the research of EPB control strategy.(2)In this study by analyzing the hardware of EPB,designed EPB hardware loop simulation technology.(3)By reference to the abroad automotive active safety standards and diagnostic test evaluation protocol,testing and evaluating EPB controller.The results of the test can not only evaluate the function of EPB,also further validates the effectiveness of the EPB hardware in the loop test platform.
