In order to solve the hot problems faced by the current cities such as urban flood control and rainwater resources utilization,low impact development(LID)technology with dual functions of runoff reduction and pollution purification has been strongly applied and promoted.Based on the low impact development concept and the construction of sponge city,this paper takes the Chengnan New District of Fugou County,Henan Province as the research area,and using the LID control function in the SWMM model studies in different regions,different layout densities and different rainfall return periods,the effect of rainwater conservation ponds on the regulation of rainwater runoff and the reduction of pollutants,and the optimal layout of space layout is determined through comparative analysis.Firstly,against the backdrop of urban hardening causing waterlogging and the urban environment of initial rainwater pollution,the role of low impact development concept in reducing rainwater runoff and reducing non-point source pollution is discussed,and low impact development concept are sorted out,and comprehensively summarize and deeply understand the design and optimization experience of low impact development and at home and abroad..Secondly,establishes the SWMM model of Chengnan New District in Fugou County.The model pipe network is generalized to 137 sub-catchments,137 nodes,137 pipes and 4 drainage ports.The model simulates five spatial layout scheme of rainwater conservation ponds of rainwater regulation effect under the two-hour concentrated rainfall with a return period of 3 years and 5 years spacing 5 minutes.The simulation time for rainwater hydraulic conditions is 5 hours,and the simulation time for rainwater quality conditions is 2 hours.Finally,the model results were compared and evaluated from the aspects of hydraulic conditions,rainwater runoff quality and pollutant discharge.The optimal plan was determined to provide a basis for the design and application of rainwater conservation ponds.
