In order to cope with more complex building structure requirements and diverse geological conditions,higher bearing capacity,faster construction speed,higher economic benefits and stronger stability have become the development trend of modern foundation engineering.Prestressed concrete pipe pile has the advantages of high bearing capacity of single pile,low cost of unit bearing capacity,fast construction speed,strong penetrating force,reliable pile quality and so on.This paper starts with the design of a living community in this area,and carries out load test on the natural foundation of the site through the geological exploration report provided by the construction site.The test results show that the natural foundation bearing capacity is not enough to meet the requirements of the superstructure.Based on the above analysis,three treatment opinions are preliminarily selected: compacted gravel pile foundation,mud retaining wall bored cast-in-place pile foundation,and prestressed concrete pipe pile foundation.Through comparing the three treatment schemes selected by the author in the engineering application,it is concluded that the compacted gravel pile foundation can meet the liquefaction problem,but the bearing capacity is insufficient.The grouted pile foundation with mud retaining wall can meet the problems of bearing capacity and liquefied soil layer,but it is obviously inferior to the prestressed concrete pipe pile foundation in terms of economic benefits,construction schedule and environmental protection.Therefore,the pipe pile foundation is finally selected as the construction plan.By studying the bearing mechanism of pile foundation and combining the design requirements of pile foundation at home and abroad with the foundation design experience of local surrounding areas,two pile diameters of prestressed pipe pile are designed as alternative schemes.Through the field test pile detection,the diameter of the pile used in this project is finally determined and the design is applied to the actual project.The practical application proves that the design is effective and reasonable and meets the use requirements.
