In recent years,China's economic level has developed rapidly, and China's road asphalt enterprises have also developed rapidly. The development of asphalt materials has made great contributions to the construction of roads in China.Today,China's asphalt industry has entered a stage of rapid development of scale and centralization.Due to long-term exposure to air, asphalt pavement will inevitably suffer from aging, cracking and spalling as time goes on due to long-term exposure to internal and external factors such as force, heat, light and water. The asphalt pavement is uneven. Therefore,it is necessary to detect the damage degree of asphalt pavement and predict its durability. This paper mainly studies the amount of water in asphalt concrete and the water loss degree of the test pieces through electrical conductivity.Taking the standard Marshall specimen as the research object, graphite as the conductive medium was laid on the upper and lower sides of the concrete, and the copper poles were placed on the graphite powder on the concrete. The changes of water absorption, resistance and indirect tensile strength of the specimen under the influence of temperature and time were studied. The specific research contents and conclusions are as follows. At the same water bath temperature, with the extension of soaking time, the water absorption rate of the specimen becomes larger and larger, and the resistance and tensile strength of the specimen gradually decrease.Under the same soaking time, with the increase of temperature, the water absorption rate becomes larger and larger, the resistance value becomes smaller and smaller, and the indirect tensile strength becomes smaller and smaller. In order to explore the changes of water absorption, resistance and tensile strength of the specimen after absorbing water. We controlled the temperature and time to study the relationship between resistance and indirect tensile strength after water absorption under different damage ratios. The experimental results are as follows:the resistance of the specimen decreases sharply when the water absorption increases abruptly from non-soaking to soaking.Tensile strength fluctuates and generally shows a downward trend, but the change is not obvious.According to this experimental conclusion,we can use the conductivity of concretespecimens to check the water content and predict the water damage degree of asphalt pavement by measuring resistance after sampling on asphalt pavement, thus providing reference value for asphalt industry to study new waterproof materials and so on,hoping to have a certain influence on the future research of asphalt pavement.
