Nowadays,plate and shell structure is widely used in civil engineering,ship engineering,aerospace and other engineering fields.Large span building's roof,aircraft's bulkhead and wing,ship's draft tube,satellite's solar panels can be all classified as board Shell structure.These structures are more and more pursuing high bearing capacity and low quality,so they become very lightweight,large-scale and flexible.Therefore,the vibration problem of this structure is becoming more and more prominent.If we do nothing for the vibration,the structure will be damaged.Therefore,it will affect these structures' service life.While the vibration of the above-mentioned various structures are plate and shell vibration on earth,in order to solve these problems,it is necessary to study on the vibration control of this basic plate shell structure.Macro Fiber Composite(MFC)is a new type of intelligent materials,which is mainly composed of piezoelectric ceramic fiber and epoxy resin.Light weight,good flexibility,high driving force,high conformity to curved surfaces,it is the best comprehensive properties smart materials in comparison to other current piezoelectric materials,and very suitable for the shell and shell structure's vibration control.But there is still little research on MFC over the world and no ripe theory to establish MFC vibration control model.Therefore,this paper establishes the MFC finite element model,and on this basis,we propose to use MFC to control the vibration of plate and shell structure.In this paper,the MFC is used to control a plate and a shell's vibration,respectively.And conducted the theoretical derivation,numerical simulation,and carried out an experimental to verify the theory.This article has done the following work:Firstly,the mechanical model formula of MFC is deduced,and an equivalent finite element modeling method of MFC as load boundary condition is proposed,and its correctness is verified by experiment.Secondly,the finite element model of plate and shell's degree of freedom is reduced by Guyan polycondensation method and norm reduction method,and its effectiveness is verified.Thirdly,the simulation and analysis of the vibration control of the plate and the shell are conducted by PID control algorithm and Fuzzy-PID control algorithm respectively.Lastly,the active vibration control experiment of plate and shell structure is carried out,and the validity and feasibility of MFC on the plate and shell structure vibration control of plate and shell are verified.
