In this paper,two kinds of ice detection methods are introduced based on piezoelectric materials,which are ultrasonic guided wave ice detection and ultrasonic pulse echo detection.In the ultrasonic guided wave icing detection technology,deduced Lamb wave dispersion equation,and through the dichotomy of calculating the dispersion curves,obtained with Lamb wave cutoff frequency,frequency dispersion and multi modes of;and using the finite element software to simulate the wave propagation by different icing parameters,with the the thickness of the ice and the change in length of guided wave had peak attenuation and peak time lag phenomenon,and according to the comparison between the data mode that the S0 mode is more sensitive to ice;build the ultrasonic guided wave icing detection experiment platform,select the size of up to ?6 × 1.2mm piezoelectric ceramics as the experiment sensor;first with a simple experiment of the ultrasonic guided waves can be used to detect aircraft icing,and then in the plane on the surface of aluminum and the airfoil icing detection experiment,It is found that all three systems can reconstruct and feedback the ice information better.In the ultrasonic pulse echo icing detection technology,according to the theory that attenuation in the ultrasonic pulse wave attenuation in the ice cream is mainly due to the scattering inside the ice cream "(bubble)occurred in the ultrasonic scattering and caused the loss of energy,and then gives the calculation method of the attenuation coefficient;the experimental platform is set up by the correlation coefficient to determine whether the occurrence of ice in the time domain,by calculating the transit time can get the thickness of the ice,in the frequency domain by Fourier transform and the calculated ice information attenuation coefficient;in the experiment verified the accuracy of detecting the thickness of ice at first,then with three different samples of the ice were calculated attenuation coefficient the discovery of ice porosity is large,the attenuation coefficient is greater.Finally,I summarize the full text,describe the shortcomings and innovations in the contents of this paper,and then give two specific installation methods of detection methods.
