There are several forms of section of special-shaped column : L-shaped,T-shaped,Z-shape and crossing-section columns.There were many researchers studying on the L-shaped,T-shaped,crossing-section column and have got some certain achievement while Z-shaped column has not got enough study.With the development of modern buildings toward the high-strength concrete,the brittleness of high-strength concrete seriously affect the ductility and energy dissipation capacity of the structure.It can reduce the stirrup ratio and make the column to form an effective constraint.The method of modern numerical simulation has become a popular auxiliary method especially the finite element method has become more and more mature.The analysis software of ANSYS has been used in many engineering fields as a kind of large general finite element software.According to the above,the purpose of this paper is to study the impact of different factors on the seismic performance of concrete column with high-strength stirrups.The influence of different factors(such as stirrup ratio,shear span ratio,axial compression ratio,loading angle,etc.)on the seismic behavior of Z-shaped columns with high-strength stirrups is studied.Then making a analysis of hysteretic curve,skeleton curve,ductility coefficient parameters.According to the comprehensive results of different test specimens about Z-shaped concrete columns with high-strength stirrups,it indicates that shear-span ratio and loads angle of the Z-shaped concrete column confined by high-strength stirrups matters a lot on seismic performance while stirrup ratio,axial compression ratio and reinforcement ratio have little influence on the seismic performance.The ductility and energy dissipation capacity is better and the bearing capacity is smaller with the larger shear span ratio.The ductility and energy dissipation capacity of the specimens with the loading angle of 45 degrees is the best,and it appears the bending failure;The stirrup ratio,axial compression ratio and reinforcement ratio have certain influence on the seismic performance of Z-shaped column with high-strength stirrups.The shear force calculated by formula of shear bearing capacity derived from the truss-arch model has some error with shear force simulated.The error caused by this formula without taking into account the axial pressure ratio.The study also shows that it can make full use of constraint effect effectively by the high-strength stirrups and reducing the probability of brittle fracture with constitutive of concrete with high-strength stirrups. |
