With the rapid development of the global logistics,the individualized demand of the container is gradually growing.The existing general purpose containers are inconvenient and inefficient in handling and transporting some certain special cargo.These containers can neither meet the customers' efficiency demand in loading and unloading of the cargo,nor the security demand in handling these.Therefore,there is a large demand in the dedicated containers with special functions.Special container,somehow,has become the new direction of modern logistics development.Special container has the characteristics of special function,exceptional dimension and complex structure.The existing design software,R&D process and testing equipment of the company are inefficient and costly in the R&D process of special container.This essay has studied the design,analysis and testing of super-wide split thermostatic container for transporting single super-large heat-sensitive cargo.Then the conclusions and prospects have been drawn.The main contents and achievements are as follows:(1)By collecting,collating,analyzing and calculating the information of the main parameters of the cargo carried by containers,the parameters of the supporting transport equipment and the standard of the container design industry and also by referring to the existing container types,the writer has determined the design scheme of the ultra-wide split type temperature control container.(2)The writer has used AutoCAD to finish the design of the primary assembly and device,then used PRO-E three-dimensional design software to establish a three-dimensional virtual model of ultra-wide split type constant temperature container for calculating the assembly dimensions between the components of the container.The external & internal dimensions of the container meet the requirements from the cargo,vehicle and ISO standard.(3)The mechanical properties of the designed virtual model are analyzed by ABAQUS finite element analysis,and the stress concentration components at the front and rear end of the container have been strengthened.(4)The super-wide split type constant temperature container testing platform has been set up according to the PRO-E three-dimensional model and the container testing standard.Then the classification society testing under six working conditions is completed and passed.Comparing the testing result with the finite element analysis results and the ISO testing standard,the testing result proved to be in good agreement with the later two.(5)The writer has developed the ultra-wide split type temperature control container which has enriched the container product series and improved the company's market competitiveness.(6)The use of three-dimensional simulation and finite element analysis tools in developing of special containers can replace the ISO testing of the prototype,thus effectively shorten the R&D cycle and reduce the R&D cost.And this method could be spread and applied in the company and also the industry.
