As the name implies,the base isolation system is a kind of damping technology that hinders the transmission of earthquake action to the upper part,that is,the isolation device is arranged between the upper structure of the building bottom and the foundation,which is based on " isolation".In recent years,with the continuous development of this technology,a new road and concept has been opened up in the field of engineering earthquake prevention and disaster reduction.The seismic isolation structure system is a passive control system,which is different from the traditional seismic structure system.the seismic energy input is absorbed and consumed by the energy dissipation device of the isolation layer,and the basic period of the structure is prolonged,so as to reduce the seismic response of the structure.The research results of base isolation are becoming more and more mature,the damping control theory is gradually improved,and the base isolation technology has been applied in many countries and regions.The seismic performance of base-isolated structures is determined by the site conditions and relevant parameters of the isolation equipment.These factors can directly affect the dynamic response of base isolation under earthquake.In general,the upper structure of the base-isolated structure is approximately translational in the process of earthquake,and the horizontal displacement is concentrated in the base-isolated layer.When the building exceeds a certain height,the main structure on the base-isolated layer will be overturned as a whole due to the large deformation of the base-isolated layer.At this time,the overturning moment at the isolation layer seriously threatens the safety of the superstructure.Therefore,the overturning design of isolated structure is an important task to ensure the normal work of isolated system and the safety of isolated system.With the rapid development of China's construction industry,people's requirements for building function and appearance are increasing.Therefore,in recent years,a lot of new-style buildings have emerged.Generally,these buildings belong to plane irregular structure or vertical irregular structure,which makes the seismic design work face challenges.In this paper,the damping control technology and related knowledge of base isolation are introduced firstly.through theoretical analysis of the principle of base isolation structure,the feasibility and control points of base isolation structure are derived.through the analysis of example model,the superiority of base isolation structure over ordinary seismic mechanism is verified.An example of a seven-layer irregular frame structure is given in this paper.sap 2000 is used to model and analyze the structure.By selecting three seismic waves and entering the calculation.The feasibility of base isolation technology in plane irregular structure is verified by comparing the dynamic responses of the examples before and after the isolation system is set up,and the influence of different isolation device parameters on the damping effect of the isolation system is studied.
