With the development of infrastructure and seashore excavations,engineers pay more attention to anti-seepage measures and safety factors of the project.Project of seashore excavations of pulverized-fuel ash is rare.As special foundation soil,pulverized-fuel ash is recognized by engineers gradually.Its permeability is strong and physical coefficients vary greatly in dry,saturated or semi-saturated state.It is essential to select reliable cut-off wall to excavations with pulverized-fuel ash geology condition which can affect stability and reliability directly.Occluded displacement pile is suitable to apply in foundation project with its effect of anti-seepage.As special rigid cut-off wall,occlusal pile is widely used in excavations project because of anti-seepage and protection.This content based on practical project to discuss the application of occlusal pile in shore engineering.Based on research background and theory,this content offers basic project design and perform simulation with MIDAS/GTS to gain seepage field,stress,displacement and stability factor of slope and analyses.Then doing research to seek law with changing one coefficient.Finally this content provides basic suggests and matters in engineering.From the results,rigid cut-off wall is reliable in soft foundation.The elastic modulus of rigid cut-off wall is large to resist on loading when rock socketed pile design exists.Its displacement is limited,therefore it can protect the slope well.However,its inner stress is large.The results show that when rock socketed height increases,constraint of tip of pile increases so that displacement of pile decreases,but construction technology is sophisticated.Adjusting the distance between the cut-off wall and the slope won't have obvious affection on safety of slope.Improving elastic modulus of cut-off wall is valuable for stability of slope in this project.This content presents that,increasing width of soil in front of rigid cut-off wall is beneficial to stability of slope if soil strength and excavation angle without improving.Then increasing elastic modulus and constraint of tip of pile is beneficial or decreasing additional stress on soil in front of wall,but construction technology is sophisticated,economical efficiency is less.
