Experimental Study On Seismic Behavior Of Bundle Connected Precast Concrete Shear Wall Structures

Abstract/Summary:
With the promotion of sustainable development and green building energy conservation and emission reduction policies advocated,the architecture industry has gradually transformed into industrialization.The prefabricated concrete structure is conducive to promoting the industrialization of the building and the industrialization of housing in China,and it is the direction of the future building development.Shear wall structures are widely used in China’ s high-rise residential buildings,which are suitable for Chinese national conditions of housing industrialization building system.In this paper,the seismic performance of a prefabricated integral shear wall with vertically centrally constrained slurry anchor indirect lap joint structure is studied.Based on extensive reading and analysis of related literature at home and abroad,8 precast reinforced concrete shear wall specimens were designed and completed.Based on the results of the experiments,Low-cycle repeated loading tests,were numerically simulated with ABAQUS to conduct a detailed analysis of the seismic performance of the shear wall of this bundle connection mode.The main contents and results of the paper are as follows:(1)Quasi-static tests of 8 precast reinforced concrete shear wall specimens were tested,4 of which are short limb shear walls and 4 of which are normal shear walls.A tier the quasi-static tests,detailed analysis of the experimental phenomenon was carried out and then based on the experimental hysteresis loop curve,the hysterefic behavior,deformation ductility capacity,energy dissipation capacity and equivalent stiffness degradation of the precast specimens were studied.Then,comparative analyses of the cast specimens were conducted in order to well understand the seismic performance theprefabricated shear walls.(2)The use of additional prefabricated short-limb shear walls with bundled joints in the vertical steel bars can delay the development of the main cracks at the shear stiffness section change,and reduce the crack width,but can not change the final crack development pattern.The use of prefabricated short-limb shear walls and ordinary shear wall pre-embedded bellows with bundled connection for vertical reinforcement can enhance the cracking stiffness of the shear wall and reduce the crack width at the change in stiffness of the shear wall section,so there is little effect on the bearing capacity of the specimen by removing the metal bellows in the reserved channel,and the energy dissipation capacity and ductility are improved slightly.(3)Strain gauges were placed on different heights of vertical interposing grooving in the grouting hole.The stress and strain of vertical steel bars under low cyclic loading were analyzed.It was concluded that the vertical ribs of the prefabricated shear wall can be efficiently transmitted under the reciprocating load.The grouting hole tension side and pressure side of the vertical reinforcement and cement-based grouting material connection are reliable and there is no slip of steel,which ensures the integrity of the prefabricated shear wall.(4)The non-linear analysis of precast short limb shear wall specimens and prefabricated ordinary shear wall specimens under unidirectional horizontal displacement loading were performed using finite element software ABAQUS.Based on the shear-stress damage cloud diagram of the whole process of loading,the crack development of the test and the model are compared.It is verified that the finite element calculation results are in good agreement with the results of the low-cycle repeated load test.Through the above-mentioned experimental research and theoretical analysis,the prefabricated shear wall and cast-in-place shear wall under bundled connection have basically the same mechanical properties and seismic resistance.After reasonable design and good construction,this kind of bundled connection method will meet the expected requirements,and the connection method is safe and reliable.It can be applied in the project.In the end,this paper summarizes the research contents and achievements,and proposes further research directions.
