The frame double-leg shear wall structure is widely used in high-rise buildings, especially office buildings and residential buildings because of its good lateral resistance and small lateral displacement? However, due to the solid connection between wall and foundation, the bottom of wall is subject to the combined action of shear force, bending moment and torque.Through the study of shear wall earthquake damage,it is found that most of the damage parts of shear wall under earthquake action are concentrated at the bottom, which is embodied in the concrete falling off at the bottom of the wall and the yielding of longitudinal reinforced bar. This kind of damage has no warning beforehand and is difficult to repair afterwards. In this paper,an 18-story frame double-leg shear wall structure is designed through PKPM software. Then,on the basis of the structure, the original shear wall connected with the foundation is set into a swaying wall structure which can be limited swaying, and the structure becomes a two-limb swinging wall structure. The two structures are modeled by finite element method using SAP2000 software. In this paper, the wall is modeled by BAC model--wall/plate macroscopic model of beam and column members. Finally,Pushover analysis was used to compare the seismic performance of the frame two-leg shear wall and the frame two-leg swing wall. The results show that the period and displacement of the frame double limb swing wall structure are not different from the frame double limb shear wall structure. With the increase of the seismic action, the plastic hinge area of the frame double shear wall increased obviously.Under the same seismic intensity, the bending moment at the bottom of the shear wall is much greater than that at the bottom of the swing wall, which indicates that the seismic performance reserve of the frame two-limb swing wall is higher than that of the frame two-limb shear wall.
