Helicopters and transport aircrafts is one of the important means of transportation for various transportation tasks in China's border areas.Their performance directly affects the security and economic prosperity of our country's border areas.In these areas,the maneuverability of helicopters and transport aircrafts is the most important part of their performance.Based on this background,systematic research on the plateau maneuverability of aero-engines is carried out.This paper mainly discusses the thermo-mechanical coupling stress field of high-temperature components of aero-engines during operation to ensure the reliability and life of high-temperature components and the whole machine.Meanwhile the declining dynamic economics of gas turbines used in large passenger aircrafts and transport aircrafts in the plateau region is also researched.The high-temperature components of the reciprocating piston internal combustion engine for small aircrafts such as helicopters are prone to over-temperature and fatigue failure when used in the plateau region.To solve this problem,the finite element calculation model of the engine working process and high-temperature components is established according to the finite element idea.Based on the engine working process model,the paper derives the boundary conditions for the calculation and analysis of the high-temperature components,analyzes the thermo-mechanical coupling stress field of the high-temperature components,such as the piston,cylinder liner,cylinder head gasket,cylinder head and valve,and performs predictive analysis for the life of the piston.In regard to the declining dynamic economy that is prone to occur when gas turbines of large passenger aircrafts and transport aircrafts are used in the plateau region,the paper adopts scientific and reasonable evaluation methods such as analytic hierarchy to solve this problem.The effects and causes of aeronautical engine maneuverability in the plateau area are analyzed in detail.The concepts,theories and related methods of the plateau maneuverability evaluation are discussed and summarized.The index selection and system construction process of the maneuverability evaluation are systematically described.Then,the evaluation for the maneuverability of the aircrafts in the plateau region is provided combining the experts' evaluation in related fields.The results show that the top edge of the piston,the top of the cylinder liner,the cylinder head gasket and the throat of the cylinder head are subjected to large stresses,which are prone to fatigue failure.Therefore,attention should be paid to this problem during use and the processes of subsequent maintenance and development.The evaluation results show that the degree of memberships for the plateau area and the plain area are very different,which indicates that the plateau environment has a great influence on the maneuverability of the aero-engines,so the use and maintenance personnel must find the shortcomings of the aero-engines in the plateau environment to provide the direction for improving.The research in this paper points out the direction and lays the foundation for the subsequent research on the maneuverability of aero-engines.
