An Analysis Of Buddhist Gardens Of Mogao Frescoes In Dunhuang

The mural paintings of mogao grottoes in dunhuang contain the development of Chinese buddhist gardens.After the study of the dunhuang mogao grottoes mural garden factors extracted,through the dunhuang mogao grottoes mural in the historical context of analysis and comparison.Combining with the history of Chinese classical garden,garden aesthetics aspects of the research results of the comparative analysis,it is concluded that the buddhist mogao grottoes of dunhuang frescoes build gardens and its unique aesthetic thoughts and Buddhism to the garden and its profound influence to the culture in our country,and for the development of Chinese landscape history and Chinese garden culture development has a basic cognitive clearly.Including the mogao grottoes of dunhuang frescoes in different historical periods corresponding to the different age of garden construction,different period of dunhuang frescoes garden form the different influence to the buddhist culture reflects the society,this kind of influence that form of gardens in dunhuang murals on the veins of the period,present four types: a,adornment mural in the background of landscape elements.Second,the natural landscape in the mural realistic landscape.Third,the new pattern of buddhist gardens in the murals of narrative stories.Iv.Non-realistic expression of buddhist gardens in murals.In classical Chinese gardens,the temple gardens before the tang dynasty are described simply.Since there is almost no garden left before tang dynasty,there is almost no description of the methods and techniques of temple garden construction in the history of Chinese classical gardens.Dunhuang frescoes record this blank in the form of images.In addition,it also displays the gardening techniques and ideological culture of the period from the northern wei dynasty to the sui dynasty.In the whole remains of dunhuang frescoes,the artistic conception of integrated gardening techniques such as borrowing,hiding,leaking,framing and so on is reflected in the dunhuang frescoes,and the creative buddhist garden based on the buddhist imagination appears based on culture.The fusion of artistic conception and sensory thoughts and ideas,no matter from the era or from the garden thought,will be the Chinese classical garden in the history of buddhist garden to give recognition and research of great value.To sum up,this paper makes a detailed study of the representative murals of dunhua mogao grottoes from the early northern dynasties to sui dynasty,the early tang dynasty,the late tang dynasty,the five dynasties to yuan dynasty.The buddhist gardens in frescoes were extracted for comparison and analysis with the development literature of buddhist gardens.The value and significance of dunhuang frescoes in the history of Chinese classical gardens as well as their influence and inheritance on later gardens are concluded.The methods mainly include literature interpretation,image extraction,image analysis and comparative analysis.
