Many advantages of unmanned vehicle make unmanned aerial vehicle get more and more attention in many fields.And as an important part of the whole UAV system,the Ground Control System has also been paid much attention by researchers.Especially with the development of computer and wireless communication technology,researchers have made great progress in the research of ground station.In this paper,a multifunctional ground station system is designed based on the unmanned Rotorcraft project.This paper focuses on the method of the basic functions of communication link,electronic map and storage of data in the ground monitoring system.Firstly,this paper summarize the basic functions a ground station should have based on the analysis of some typical ground stations at home and abroad.It built the general frame of the ground station based on these basic functions and gives a general description of the overall framework.At the same time,this paper gives the idea of using C # to complete the design of ground station software.Secondly,this paper develop the communication protocol between ground station system and UAV and use SerialPort control to achieve communication.Also,this paper use the GMap.NET control to make the electronic map and puts forward some concrete methods to achieve the function of navigation point management,track display and path planning.Thirdly,making virtual instrumentation for this article with WPF studio and achieve simulation of virtual attitude based on SharpGL control.This paper expounds the methods of complete the modules of flight monitoring,curve display,rudder calibration and data storage,and achieve the data interaction between each module through the events and delegates in C #.At last,by testing each functional module and testing the whole ground station with unmanned vehicle,the ground station this paper designed and achieved is able to meet the requirement of UAV.
