The main reason a company keeps an inventory of spare parts is to perform maintenance in order to restore the system in such a way that it can perform its intended function.Maintenance relies on the availability of spare parts in order to reduce failure downtime and costs.The number of spare parts in inventory is determined by the maintenance demand,for each spare part.It is clear that maintenance and inventory management are strongly interconnected and should both be considered simultaneously when optimizing a company’s operations.However,they were considered and optimized independently right now in airlines from the view of operation mode and departments deployment.In view of this situation,according to the characteristics of different spare parts,this paper establishes a joint optimization model of maintenance strategy and spare parts supply respectively according to the maintenance strategies applicable to all kinds of components,the main distinguishing characteristics of this paper are summarized as follow:First,based on the predetermined maintenance strategy model and the spare parts demand model separately,the total cost is calculated separately.Then use the maintenance strategy and spare parts demand to establish a joint optimization model.The Monte Carlo method is used to simulate and solve the problem to get the cost of joint optimization.Compared with the results from the previous modeling,the economy and necessity of the joint optimization were proved.Second,a joint optimization of maintenance inspection and spare provisioning for aircraft parts is proposed to minimize the total cost rate.In the case study,the proposed model and its optimal results are analyzed and compared with the existing optimization model and the airline engineering method,and then sensitivity analysis of the proposed model is conducted.Third,by using the Wiener process to establish a degenerate model,the life distribution of degenerate failure products in Wiener process is studied,and then the estimation method of relevant parameters is deduced to predict the remaining life of the product.On this basis,the sequential optimization model is used to optimize the condition-based maintenance and spare parts ordering points.The case studies were given at last and the result demonstrated the joint optimization model is better than traditional policies.At last,according to the researches shown above,a management system used to manage Maintenance strategy and spare ordering policy jointly was developed.The software was verified and tested by specific data and cases. |
