In recent years,offshore wind power develops rapidly.Compared with HAWT,VAWT has the advantage of lower COG and convenience of installation and maintenance.At present,few people study VAWT.As offshore wind power gradually develops in the deep water,the research on VAWT will increase in the future.In the paper,the theory of multi-body dynamics is used to study the dynamic characteristics of H-type FVAWT,the tower and blades of VAWT are treated as flexible structure,Spar-type floating foundation is treated as rigid body,and the nonlinear effects of transverse deformation of flexible structures on axial deformation are considered.Based on the Lagrange equation,the nonlinear rigid-flexible multi-body dynamics equation of FVAWT is established and programmed.The dynamic equations are numerically solved.The equation takes the coupling effects of rigid structureflexible structure and aerodynamic-hydrodynamic into account.Taking 5MW H-type wind turbine as an example,the structural parameters of blades and tower are designed preliminarily.The inherent vibration characteristics of the floating wind turbine are analyzed.The motion of floating foundation,tower and blades in cases is calculated.The influence of wind speed,wave height,and rotation speed on the dynamic response of foundation,tower and blades is analyzed.The influence of floating foundation motion and flexible deformation on aerodynamic load is analyzed.The program is verified through the inherent vibration characteristics and the motion response.The results show that the rotation speed will affect the natural vibration frequency of blades,and the coupling effect appears in the tangential direction and the normal direction.In actual calculation,the factor needs to be considered.In the rated cases,the response of floating foundation is mainly affected by wave load.The equilibrium position of motion response is mainly affected by aerodynamic load.There is a slight 2P aerodynamic frequency in sway,pitch,roll and sway.By comparing the aerodynamic load of fixed wind turbine and floating wind turbine,it shows that the motion of floating foundation influences the aerodynamic loads,which can't be neglected in engineering.
