With the rapid development of China’s power grid,the scale of electric system distribution network is also expanding,the requirements of power consumers on the quality of power supply,security and reliability also become an important index to measure the performance of China’s power grid.On the one hand,the power grid performance should meet the requirements of distribution network fault,on the other hand,when the circuit fault occurs,it should be able to quickly determine the type and fault node of the fault,so as to be able to handle the fault as much as possible,reduce the loss caused by the distribution fault.Especially in the overhead transmission line because of the long-distance transmission,the terrain is complex,the environmental climate difference is large,so that the power supply is facing more and more pressure,and prone to various types of failure.In addition,because of the overhead lines due to more branches,the line structure is complex,the use of traditional manual troubleshooting is very difficult.In this paper,the automation technology and detection technology of distribution network are introduced in detail.This paper mainly analyzes the feeder automation technology,intelligent distribution network self-healing technology,distribution network fault area automatic isolation and recovery technology,power grid fault detection and positioning technology.The second chapter focuses on the matrix algorithm of distribution network fault detection.Firstly,the typical fault handling mode of the feeder is analyzed and introduced in detail.Because the traditional algorithm is based on the fault information of the line switch,the fault information of the line terminal is determined,and the algorithm cannot determine the fault information of the line terminal,and the operation process is complex,and the real-time distribution line fault detection requirements are not very good.in order to overcome the defect of the matrix algorithm,the algorithm is applied to the multi-power distribution network,only one time assumption is assumed,and the detection of fault information of the line terminal is solved,the operation process is simple,And in the network with multiple power supply,it is necessary to assume that a normal direction can solve the fault location problem,which is conducive to the rapid fault location.Finally,this paper proposes a kind of online monitoring system,the designed detection system through a certain network equipment to establish communication links,network data automatic collection,transmission,statistical and comprehensive analysis of the intelligent system,to achieve the automatic remote monitoring of the power network,and the current large number of communications in our country need to set up dedicated communication cable or occupy the wireless channel,the designed communication does not need to use extra cables,effectively reduce the complexity of the system and save costs.
