The Design And Construction Of Jack-up Platform

Petroleum,which is went by the name of "blood of industry".As the main energy resource,more and more petroleum is required in these years.The shortage of petroleum becomes the heavy restricted factor of the economy development all over the world.Petroleum exploitation at sea becomes the most important way instead of petroleum exploitation on the land.It contains a mass of petroleum and natural gas under the far-flung sea.The offshore platform is the major equipment of ocean exploitation.Design and construction of offshore platform is an important stage.China possesses long coastline and abundant ocean resource,the offshore and ocean engineering equipment construction developing rapidly.The "13"Five-year Plan" of China have given the plan of developing ocean economy,exploiting ocean scientific and becoming stronger in the ocean field.So it is important to carry out the offshore and ocean engineering equipment design and construction.The jack-up platform possesses the advantage of excellent fixture ability and dependable operation stability.It is the most extensive type of platform which used in the offshore engineering field over the worldwide.Base on the HAIEN2 jack-up Accommodation unit,this thesis will carry out the study on design and construction of jack-up type platform.This thesis fabricate a construction model for the platform by the FEA(Finite Element Analysis)software,carry out structure stress calculation and analysis for the major structure according to the platform structure particulars and working condition,get the result of stress data of platform main structure in different working condition,then check and approve the strength,purpose for confirming that whether the structure strength satisfy the requirement of Rules and standards,available for the platform construction and quality controlling.This thesis has also researched the platform construction procedure.According to the building resource(factory area,equipment,manpower,etc.),fabricate the HAIEN2 building plan.The platform structure is composed with several blocks,including main structure,self-elevating legs,leg foundation,accommodation and equipments,the building procedure is structure blocks fabrication,piping system and outfitting installation,structure assembling and launching.The innovation of this procedure is that all the structure blocks are transferred by hydraulic transfer truck for painting,assembling,Then the whole platform is launched by 2 sets of 2000T frame cranes instead of dry dock or ship slipway.It creates a new launching method for the builder that lack of dry dock and ship slipway.The result study on the researching in this thesis is benefit to the structure design and construction for the jack-up-platform.
