The Mortise And Tenon Structure In Modern Home Furnishing Design Research

The mortise and tenon structure,as an ancient concave and convex connection,has been spread to the present.However,due to the rapid development of society and the increasing variety of product materials,the variety of product processing technology is more or less forgotten by people.The progress of society has made Chinese traditional culture more and more important.In modern design,it has been showing its unique charm and has some influence in the world,and has been gradually applied to various design fields.This article focuses on the design of mortise and tenon structure in modern household products.First of all,the paper outlines the origin,development,historical evolution,structure classification and characteristics of mortise and tenon structure,analyzes the far-reaching influence of mortise-tenon structure on product design and the inspiration to the work in the later stage,and puts forward the application value of Mortise-tenon.Through the analysis of home market,this article studies the present situation of home product design at home and abroad,sums up the advantages and disadvantages;Through the application of mortise-tenon structure in various fields,it analyzes its cultural connotation,and puts forward the necessity of the application of mortise-tenon structure in design.Aiming at the current situation and existing problems,this paper summarizes the problems existing in the home market and puts forward the design principles suitable for the current market by applying the mortise-tenon structure to the household product design.Based on the analysis of the application value and cultural connotation of mortise-tenon structure and the development of modern household product design,the paper puts forward the design method of mortise-tenon structure rationally applied in household product design,and puts forward relevant design principles and design methods,and is verified through design practice.
