Energy plays a key role in the economic development of a country A consistent source of energy is needed to improve the living standard of people.Pakistan is experiencing an energy crisis that seriously affects people's lives.The main reason for the energy crisis is the speedy increase in the price of hydrocarbon resources and the lack of plans to predict the country's growing energy needs.Pakistan has suffered from the worst energy crisis in 2007 when the electric power shortage reached 4,500 megawatts and large-scale power outages followed.Before 2016 blackout of power and load shedding had become a series problem in Pakistan.This paper analyses the prospects of an energy project for managing the energy crises in the country and finding risk factors and risk assessment in energy project.The study concludes that there is a substantial potential for energy in the country for managing the present energy crises as well as finding risk factors.The main goal of an energy project is to have a significant impact on various projects over the life of the project.Therefore,applying effective risk management enables managers to achieve project goals in terms of timelines,costs,quality,and scope.In this research work,the fuzzy analytic method risk management method is proposed to systematically prioritize project risk factors.Risk assessment is an important process of management,together with the identification,analysis,and identification of risks.And the definition of project risk priorities.Theproposed risk assessment methodisappliedin Pakistan Energyprojects.The 30 risk factors for the project were identified and divided into six main risk proportions.The priority of the project risk factors is achieved by incorporating expert judgment into each stage of taking in evaluates.The precedence of the risk factor of the project has been obtained.In the pairs-matching process,the triangular fuzzy numbers are used to confine the ambiguity of the linguistic variables and the consistency of the matrices recognized within a suitable range has establishedThe function of this technique in Pakistan's energy projects shows that inadequate project planning,delayed payment,and cash flow issues and lack of support from senior management are considered key risk factors for the project.In addition,consider the risk factor category of the project;financial factors,project management,and contract-related risks dominate other categories.As a result,contractors of the energy project It is possible to reduce,pass up,relocate or make out the impact of project risks and capitalize on the settlement of project outcome.The manager can apply the FAHP risk judgment method by participating in the project team's team of experts.Senior management,other project managers and experts in unique risks.This allows project managers to effectively manage the identified and potential project risk factors.
