As a renewable and clean energy source,wind power generation has occupied a large proportion in the whole energy structure of the country;More and more countries in the world attach importance to the sustainable development of energy.Because of the unique operation attributes of wind turbines and the objective restrictions of domestic wind energy resources,most wind turbines operate in the coastal areas with high windblown sand,high salt fog,or high mountain areas with abnormal turbulence.Therefore,the operating environment of wind turbines is generally relatively harsh.which poses great challenges to the safe and stable operation of wind power generating units.Especially for wind turbine drive system(Impeller?main shaft?gearbox?coupling?generator)bring bigger effect,at the same time,the transmission system of the bearing,meshing gear itself has mechanical wear characteristics in the process of operation and abnormal damage problem,but for running at high altitude in the wind turbine drive system,the cost of replacement and maintenance are more expensive,So the on-line fault detection and prevention technology how to better applied to the operational management of wind turbines is particularly important.Studies conducted at home and abroad show that,The fault of mechanical transmission system of wind turbine can be captured effectively by vibration signal or vibration signal.In this paper,combined with a wind power generator mechanical transmission system for the online fault diagnosis technology and system research and development,mainly including: to vibration acceleration signals as a monitoring system in the fault monitoring platform;Expounds the relation between the wind turbines mechanical fault and vibration,the principle of the online fault diagnosis technology,implementation,application analysis and development direction;The configuration scheme and software and hardware requirements of the on-line fault diagnosis technology of wind turbine are proposed for different types of models.This paper shows that the extraction of vibration acceleration signal related features of the mechanical transmission system of wind turbine can be used to diagnose the typical mechanical faults of wind turbine.
