The graphite circumferential seal is the main part of the seal design system in aeroengine.Its function is to guarantee the lubrication oil seal between the main rotor of bearing cavity and the stator.The development of the technology has good application prospects and important scientific significance for improving the performance and life of the aeroengine.In the design process,the strength analysis,the contact load analysis,the dynamic characteristics analysis,the leakage characteristic analysis are involved.The purpose of this paper is to analyze the structural strength,steady state response and sealing performance of graphite circumferential seal under the bouncing condition,to perfect the design system and to improve the level of the design and analysis of graphite circumferential seal.In this paper,the calculation models of contact load and impact load were established.Through the friction and wear test,the friction and wear properties of graphite material and WC coating material were analyzed,and the friction coefficient in different load,temperature and sliding speed was obtained.According to the design parameters of the circumferential seal of some aeroengine,the three-dimensional model of the sealing ring,the rotating shaft and the sealing seat were established by using UG software.Then the model was imported into the ANSYS Workbench software.First of all,the static contact analysis of the graphite circumferential seal ring was carried out.By contact analysis,the maximum deformation,maximum stress,maximum contact pressure and the position of the circumferential seal ring under the condition of the shaft bouncing(0.2mm?1.6mm)were obtained.Secondly,the dynamic analysis of the graphite circumferential seal was carried out.By dynamic analysis,the first six natural frequencies and corresponding vibration modes of the seal ring were studied,and the main vibration direction of each mode was determined.On the basis of modal analysis,the analysis of harmonic response was carried out by applying sinusoidal load.It can study the steady-state response of the seal ring in the working frequency range.By studying on the static and dynamic characteristics of graphite circumferential seal ring under the condition of bouncing,a mathematical model for the calculation of the leakage of graphite circumferential seal was established under the bouncing condition.In addition,it also obtains the regularity of the effect of the rotor bouncing on the graphite seal.
